AJH Golf Society was founded in loving memory of Andy and Joshua — a brother and nephew taken far too soon.
In 2021, Andy and his two-year-old son Joshua were involved in a serious road traffic collision. The crew from the Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey & Sussex attended the scene, and while Andy sadly lost his life that day, their intervention meant Joshua was airlifted to King’s College Hospital — giving our family nine more precious days with him before he too passed away from his injuries.
Those nine days meant everything to us. They gave us time to be with Joshua, to hold him, and to say goodbye. Without the incredible speed and skill of the KSS air ambulance crew, we wouldn’t have had that.
AJH Golf Society exists to give something back to the charity that gave us those moments. Every event we run, every round we play, and every pound we raise goes to KSS — so that other families might have the time with their loved ones that we will always be grateful for.
